The Role

As a (Senior) R&D Engineer Drilling at Hades, you will apply the learning from your past drilling experience to conceptualize, design, engineer and implement a novel drill technology.This role is one of Hades first drilling engineer hires and will play a pivotal role in the journey of Hades - it provides the opportunity for real impact from day one. You will work closely with the technical founding team and the multidisciplinary team of engineers, geologists, and scientists to make ultra-deep drilling fast and cheap.

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual who possesses:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D for drilling equipment, preferably HTHP environments
Strong understanding of novel drilling techniques and drilling equipment
Demonstrated ability to lead and manage drilling R&D projects from conception to completion
Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
Willingness to reside in the greater Munich area
